the kiss

1-What is your opinion about Periappa as a whole from " The Kiss"?
~~from the short story "THE KISS"...Periappa is act as a husband for Pariamma..he is very cruel while he punch his wife if Pariamma has do a wrong work..then, he is a good person and helping person..because of that...when indian don't have money to pay..he wrote it on his debt book...for the more, he had a driving fast to go home..with in drunk condition..

2-Shouldn't the narrator kiss or not his uncle for the last respect?
~~narrator should kiss his uncle for the last respect because it still the narrator uncle forever.
